Free Cleft Lip Surgery III 42 Patients Followed
TARAKAN - City Government of Tarakan in collaboration with Ente Nazionale Idrocarburi (ENI), oil and gas companies from Rome Italy again held free cleft lip operation, which runs from 30 March to 4 April in Tarakan Hospital Operating Room.
Harelip operation phase III will be followed 42 patients of cleft lip derived from several areas in East Kalimantan, including Tarakan, Berau, Nunukan, Malinau, East Kalimantan region and even outside the East Nusa Tenggara (NTT)
City Health Office Head of Tarakan Khairul said the joint operation of cleft lip lasted for three years, which is conducted every six months. Cleft lip surgery performed in July 2009 to March 2011.
"With three stages of cleft lip surgery, the mean ending all our cooperation with ENI. For us in this partnership agreement only lasted for three years. For that we hope this actually utilized residents who suffer from cleft lips," he said on Tuesday (15 / 3 / 2011). (*)
